About
Me
I have a degree in Environmental Science and I am a FGASA (Field
Guide Association of Southern Africa) level 1 qualified Field Guide.
I have a real passion for Africa that might have been initiated
from growing up there when I was young. However, I have spent the
majority of my life over here in the UK. I have returned on several
occasions to Southern and Eastern Africa for voluntary conservation
work and field guiding courses. Although I love African wildlife,
I still get excited about the wildlife in my own back garden and
elsewhere in the world.
I now run a safari company called
Afreco Tours and fit in the
wildlife and nature photographer
when I can - usually during my travels to Africa. I enjoy spending
as much time as possible in the outdoors. It was a life-changing conservation trip
to East Africa in 1999 kick-started my love for photography. Shortly
after my return I got my first SLR and I quickly caught the bug
for wildlife photography. I have since won some competitions and
sold quite a number of prints. I am as interested in British wildlife
as I am in nature and wildlife around the world and I actively involve
myself in conservation and green issues, supporting causes where
I can.
I am building a comprehensive stock photography library of nature
and wildlife images. If there is anything that you can not find here
then please do not hesitate to contact me at
info@adrianfaulkner.co.uk
as it might actually be in the database and not yet uploaded to the
site.
Once your order has been submitted, I shall attempt to return a
quotation as soon as possible. Likewise, if a print is required
then please email me with your enquiry. I will also be happy to
assist if any material is required for a school, college or university
project.
Thanks for browsing my website.
